The Jacobites, Scottish rebels and Stuart loyalists, rose up against the English in the 17th and 18th centuries.  The Jacobites will be staging an uprising once again – in Sarasota, Florida.  If you are a rebel at heart or one who is excited by the sound of bagpipes come to the Uprising on March 31st at 3 p.m. at Van Wezel!   For tickets go to the box office at http://www.vanwezel.org or click on the piper on the home page.
