Music on Main event expands
LAKEWOOD RANCH --
A few extra attractions were added to this month's Music on Main event.
Guests strolling through the shopping district enjoyed dance music by the Chameleon band throughout the evening.
A parade of tartans and the Jacobite Pipe Band paid tribute to National Scottish Tartan Day. Southpointe Land Rover displayed a new LR2. The sale of beer, wine and food at the concert benefits the Humane Society of Sarasota County.
The event is from 6 to 9 p.m. the first Friday of each month on Main Street at Lakewood Ranch. Concert admission is free. Guests may bring their own chairs.
